Our department works broadly within urban development; with early phases - such as structural plans and design proposals, detailed planning, planning programs, social sustainability, and strategic planning - such as comprehensive plans, FÖP, and location investigations. The breadth and diversity within the company give the team a unique capacity as urban planners. Primarily, various municipalities are our clients, but we also work for private clients.

Your tasks may include developing detailed plans, sketching in early phases, supporting colleagues in strategic planning such as ÖP and FÖP, and participating in dialogue work and analyses in assignments related to social sustainability.

We have many exciting assignments in both northern Sweden and the Mälardalen region, and we now need to expand our team at our offices in Stockholm or Uppsala.

With us, you will:

• Work closely with other urban planners; we always collaborate on assignments.
• Work closely with other consulting categories in interdisciplinary assignments such as building architects, landscape architects, water engineers, environmental technicians, road engineers, etc.
• Work on assignments even in northern Sweden

Your profile

We want to complement our Urban Development Department with you, who, like us, is passionate about urban planning and long-term sustainability. You have broad experience in urban development, such as familiarity with detailed planning and perhaps early phases, but also experience in social sustainability and strategic planning.

You have a particular sensitivity for layout work and can formulate well-written reports. You are a proficient user of the Adobe suite. We also value knowledge in sketching, social sustainability, dialogue work, and process management. Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D programs, Gesoecma, and GIS is a plus.

For this role, we are looking for someone who:

• Is an urban planner with at least 4 years of experience (educated planning architect FPR, Architect SAR, Landscape Architect LAR, urban planner, or civil engineer)
• Is independent and not afraid to take initiative.
• Has good knowledge of AutoCAD, Focus detailed planning, and the Adobe suite
• Has good design skills
• Is social, attentive, engaged, and business-minded
• Enjoys collaborating
